Prerequisites

• Python >= 3.10
• pip or uv for package installation

Install from PyPI

The simplest way to get started:

pip install mcp-api-test

Install from source

Clone the repository and install in editable mode:

git clone git@gitlab.com:ryaneatfood/mcp-api-testing.git
cd mcp-api-testing
pip install -e .

This registers the mcp-api-test CLI command on your PATH. Verify with:

which mcp-api-test
